Named the number of Ukrainian refugees who returned from the EU

November 27, 2022

Nearly 5 million Ukrainian refugees have returned to the country from the European Union (EU). This number was announced by the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen at a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, TASS reports.

“I can tell that the refugees are eager to return home to start building a prosperous and democratic Ukraine,” von der Leyen said.

Earlier it was reported that in Germany, due to a lack of premises, it is proposed to place Ukrainian refugees in gyms. It is noted that more and more federal lands are blocking the reception of Ukrainian refugees, resulting in difficulties with their distribution.

In the Netherlands, some Ukrainian refugees have to sleep on the street: specialized centers cannot cope with the flow of people, and local residents are in no hurry to let Ukrainians into their homes.
